Report Preflight Support

Get a scan running, understand a finding, or contact the developer.

Quick start

  1. Open the presentation you want to check.
  2. Choose Extensions → Report Preflight → Run report preflight.
  3. Enter the expected client and reporting period when needed.
  4. Leave live URL checks off for the fastest scan, or enable them when you need HTTP-status checks.
  5. Select Run preflight and review each slide-specific result.

Common questions

Why is a correct metric marked as missing a source?

Add a visible Source: or Data source: note, or include the supporting URL on the same slide.

Why does a URL check take longer?

When enabled, the add-on requests each detected URL through Google Apps Script and waits for its response code. Website availability and rate limits affect scan time.

Does the add-on store my presentation?

No. The current version processes the active presentation during the scan and does not store presentation text in an external database.

How do I remove access?

Uninstall the add-on, then review connected third-party access in your Google Account if you also want to revoke authorization.
